The open concept look is very popular these days. If your kitchen is feeling cramped, we can help you remove a wall to open things up a bit. The first step is to determine if the wall is load bearing or not. MKC has an on-call structural engineer that can help with this and provide required engineering layouts and calculations. Other considerations are HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. Are there pipes and wires that need to be relocated? Are the heating or cold air vents that need to be moved? MKC can help you with all of these considerations. How much does it cost to remove a wall? It depends-if the wall is load bearing, it will cost a bit more to install a beam. Beams can be installed below the ceiling or in the ceiling. If you have questions feel free to give us a call or schedule an in-home measure. #interiordesign #renovation #electrical #bathroomremodel #tile #kitchenremodel #homeimprovement
